As usual, every year before this day I always feel bad. Somehow. Maybe because it's always felt lonely. But every this day I always give time to myself. I can go wherever I want, do whatever I want. Even deliberate to get a 'break time' from this bussy week's. Celebrating it with reflection and meditation, is quite enough for me.
I've been taking self-portraits every year on this day for more than decade. This time I chose black and white again. I haven't been able to choose a color since 'misfiring' then. Choosing with long hair, represents my longing for how really I am, what I want. Then with my violin which I named Kalyani, Kalyani has helped me a lot in my journey these three years. For some people maybe it's true I'm not a good person. And yes Iam a worst hater. I can keep feelings for years, good or bad. I enjoy that feeling. But I put it in another form. Like this portrait.
Return home to get my late breakfast and take a quick nap. It was a very hot day. Some people send me a birthday sayings. As usual, Granny Rose and Wally are the first. Birthday gifts ? I haven't had anything like that in a long time. But today I asked my older sister for snacks, and she gave me 50,000 rupiah. This is probably the only one gift I got today. I use it to buy a bottle of Coke, a electric power jack and plug because I had something to fix, then a new plant pot. I know it's so random haha stuffs, but yeah.. That's what I need today.
When I was about to lift the clothesline rug, I was surprised by a hut guest, its monitor lizard !. Suryashvara hut suddenly chaos even though the monitor lizards were only this big haha.
Afternoon, I planed to gardening. But its canceled since my mom call to take my father to the doctor. He was indeed sick from the past few days but today his condition was a bit worse. The results of the doctor's diagnosis, my father was referred to the sub-district health center. He needs to have his phlegm test in the medical lab. Not good.
Meanwhile, I weigh myself. 52 kg, which is what I expected. I did test how damaged my body, my self after a betrayal. I'm glad I reached this weight. Cigarettes its best way to diet.
Back from the doctor i go to school, as my plan, i do gardening at 7pm. I have two new plants. At 9 pm, my friend Fahrezi visit me at my place. He bring me lots of one of my favourite coffee as a gift. He thought that today its my really birthday. Well, i have two birthday gift this year haha. Thankyou Zii.

Safari Sastra Yudhistira #1 Tasik Bandung.

This is my first poetry musical tour. With music team from Kuluwung Community, M. Rheva & Nadzar Tohary. Accompanying two national-international poets Acep Zamzam Noor - Yudhistira ANM Massardi. This tour paved my way to the another level of music world.

After returning from the tour, I was invited by Chevi Whiesa to tell a story about my art-life journey and music tour of the Safari Sastra.
Suryashvara held a traditional art performance. Mr. Asep Muharam, A . Rais Shidiq, Firmansjah & M. Rizal bringing Tembang & Kawih Sunda among the people of Borolong village. At that time I was only the conceptor and executor. The event went smoothly and people really enjoyed it. I was helped a lot by my friends and teachers when holding this event.
Solis Exhibition
August 2-10, 2022
The Kuluwung community initiated an inclusive exhibition initiated by Diwan Masnawi. 20 of my watercolor paintings were included in the exhibition along with Bandung artists, Fiu & Shalzu. Wildan Ahmad also exhibited his photography works. Suryashvara also appeared at the exhibition opening ceremony.
Batik Sukapura Documentary Movie.
September-October, 2022.
This is a big thing for me. Together with director Erni Agustin Rahayu and the team from Balaka Cinematography, we are working on a documentary film about Indonesia's cultural heritage, which originates from my birthplace, Tasikmalaya. The premiere of this film was held at the TCIC (Tasikmalaya Creative Innovation Center) attended by Governor Ridwan Kamil. The work with this team is always extraordinary.
Farewell to KH. Abunyamin Ruhiat

I've had a big loss. An honor figure to me, my teacher, my father, my believer, KH. Abunyamin Ruhiat passed away. Since then to this day, I still feel lost. I wrote an obituary note about him, about my sadness, my loss, my longing. And that note is included in the book published by the Cipasung Islamic Boarding School, the notes of the closest people to KH. Abun, to honor and commemorate the beauty of his life as each of the contributor perspective.
Dalam Tiada

During the period of mourning, my days became unclear. I so remember my days when I was first mandated by KH. Abun to serve in his place. In 2017, I made a musicali poem songs entitled Dalam Tiada, by Enung Sudrajat with members of Sanggar Gama. Five years later, I re-recorded this song even better. This is also the basis of my longing.
Tangis Darah. December 29.
2011, my last year in high school. I made a musical poem entitled Tangis Darah, a poet by Acep Zamzam Noor with my close classmates. We had entered it in the race. Eleven years passed, the original vocalist of the song came back to Cipasung. We recorded our song again, and it really makes us nostalgic.
Literary Safari #2, Pantura Love Song. February 14-25, 2023.
I went on the second tour. This time it took place in Central Java. We had concerts throughout the Cirebon, Pemalang, Pekalongan, Demak, Kudus, Pati, Jepara & Rembang. Back with Rheva and Nadzar, our team name was Gayatri at that time. This tour has a different impression, accompanied by Indonesian rock legend Renny Djajoesman and intelligent theater actor Wita Maharajo. What I think is most memorable is that I had the opportunity to meet KH. Mustofa Bisri while performing in Rembang.
Gatal Exhibition.

Yudhistira ANM Massardi did not stop his activity. After returning from the tour on February 28, he even held an exhibition of paintings and words (poetry) in Bandung, which was held at YPK (the Cultural Center Foundation Building) on Jl. Naripan. On the third day of the exhibition, Gayatri's and I enlivened the exhibition by singing several musical poems.
Konser Burung-burung.

During the month of Ramadan, with some friends i make a new musical poem song entitled Konser Burung-burung from a poem by Yudhistira ANM Massardi. Its my first song with a celtic sense.
I have nothing to celebrate actually. I might achieve a lot things this year. But more than that, what i think more is my worries if this year I'm not better as personal.
